About Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine

    The basic purpose of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians (AAZV) is to increase knowledge and understanding of captive and free-ranging wildlife species and to improve the husbandry, preventive medicine, and research required to preserve these animals. The Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine is the official publication of the AAZV and the European Association of Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarians (EAZWV), and it is supported by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA).
